rien

                        This is the future Web site where you will be able to join your voice with the voices of other                    citizens around the world to state, and discuss with others:
             - how you think our world should be governed, and by whom;
       - what you think are the problems to be solved.

       Since their creation, 60 years ago for some of them, our world's multilateral institutions (the United Nations, the    IMF, the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, etc.) have not achieved their explicit goals. Instead, they have allowed, if not favored, criminal wars to be waged, the rich to become richer, and the conditions of the large majority of the world's population to become worse than ever.

We, the People, are neither stupid nor helpless. We have developed ideas and practices that work. We have legitimacy to say what we believe should be done globally for humanity and for the planet. It arises in Nature’s own diversity, to attain our humanity through our respective cultures, just as we must also respect Nature and Humanity in our cultures.

A sustainable future requires any institution established to act on our behalf to respect the common opinions of our diverse Humanity. Let us be thousands, let us be millions to report to the world! Let us build a political movement for economic justice and democracy, let us build alternatives, so that things will change!

The more we understand, the greater our power to change. Our proposition is to communicate with each other, to listen to each other, so we may increase our knowledge and understanding. We shall put our heads together in a public global debate as committed and responsible citizens. We shall consider each of our voices. We shall strive to organize dialog locally and contribute those voices to the global debate.

This public global debate is open to every individual on this planet. It will result in a Global Citizens Report that
will be updated over time. The discussions will be conducted in English, French, and Spanish. The discussion,
in association with this Web site (to be developed) will take place on an e-mail discussion list so you do
not have to be on line to participate.

If you wish your voice to be heard and to hear others’ voices, send an e-mail to that effect
now to moderator@citizensreport.net.
